Soy sauce (also called soya sauce in British English)is a condiment made from a fermented paste of soybeans, roasted grain, brine, and Aspergillus oryzae or Aspergillus sojae molds. It is also a staple ingredient in many Asian cuisines, especially Southeast Asia.
Traditionally, oyster sauce is made by slowly simmering oysters in water until the juices caramelize into a thick, brown, intensely flavorful sauce. Modern variations include lighter oyster sauces as well.
